Visharu Adavu Step 2 | Tha Thai Thai Tha Adavu | Natyakriya Episode 14

VISHARU ADAVU STEP 1 | 2nd Tha Thai Thai Tha Adavu

I. Leg Movements

For right side, you start by jumping to left & moving to the right side.
Begin by sitting in Aramandi position
  1. Jump to Left Side diagonal joining both legs together. (Count 1)
  2. Lift and hit RIGHT LEG to the right side (Count 2)
  3. Lift LEFT LEG and place the left toes behind right leg (Count 3)
  4. Hit RIGHT LEG in the right side (Count 4)
  5. Lift LEFT LEG and place the left toes behind right leg (Count 5)
  6. Hit RIGHT LEG in the right side (Count 6)
  7. Lift LEFT LEG and place the left toes behind right leg (Count 7)
  8. Hit RIGHT LEG in the same position as above (Count 8)
This was the entire RIGHT SIDE of the step. Repeat the same counts but starting with a jump to RIGHT SIDE and moving to the LEFT SIDE.

II. Hand Gestures (Hasta Mudra)

III. Hand Movements (to be done along with leg movements) - Right side

Place both hands in Katakamukha Gesture in front of your chest
  1. first beat - as you jump to the left side, stretch both hands straight above your head in Alapadma
  2. second beat - bring both hands from to a 30 degree angle from above on each side from the top (\|/)
  3. third beat - bring both hands further down at 60 degree angle from the shoulder level.
  4. fourth beat - bring both hands at shoulder level.
  5. fifth beat - Bring both hands a little below the shoulder level (30 degrees from the middle)
  6. sixth beat - Bring both hands further down (60 degrees from the middle to down)
  7. seventh beat - Bring both hands to the bottom while bending down from your hip
  8. eight beat - Both hands back in front of your chest in Katakamukha

This was the entire RIGHT SIDE of the step. Repeat the same counts but starting with LEFT LEG first for the LEFT SIDE.

Note - Do this in 3 speeds
